Hi, I'm Natalie.

I'm the crazy gal in Adelaide, South Australia who makes beautiful event décor out of rubbish and also happens to be the big boss and worker bee at Event Centrepieces.

 

In recent years I have become more and more aware of my impact on the environment. I wanted to find ways to contribute other than in my day to day life. I remember how much waste was created while  working in the event décor industry and thought that trying to create something more sustainable might be worth a try... but I knew that I had to rethink the whole process. Materials seemed like a good place to start.

 

Reuse, recycle, ethical and locally sourced is my mantra and is the main principal for all my designs and for my business as a whole.

 

While I have run into challenges and still have a lot to learn when it comes to sustainability, I am really enjoying the process and knowing I'm making a difference. It feels great being able to flex my creativity muscle, while having minimal effect on the environment, and also helping to create a beautiful and memorable event for my client.

Supplying to the greater Adelaide region, my current focus is centrepieces but I will be expanding out to other event décor in the future. All centrepieces are for hire as another way to create less waste, but I am more than happy to discuss custom projects for purchase. Wholesale pricing and quantities also available.
